There is a significant decrease in the haziness in her right lung. That "gunk" in her lungs appears to be disappearing! Dr. Doom & Gloom even said "When she gets off the ventilator..." Ha! Shame on him for giving up on her and for breaking our hearts. She is a strong little girl who will persevere!
I must reiterate our sincere appreciation to everyone for your love, support, and prayers for this little baby of ours. Please keep it up - it's working!
Oh my goodness...I am rejoicing with you!
ReplyDeletePraising God as I type! Keep healing, little one. We want you healthy and home soon!!
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! Keep it up Josie! I'm rooting for you!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Josie girl! Keep on clearing up those lungs baby!
ReplyDeleteAubrey had major lung issues post surgery and we spent three weeks in the hospital trying to rid her off all the "gunk" (funny, they don't have a more specific and medical name for it:). She finally progressed and got better, but I will warn you to start seeing, or get one on board now, a pulminologist. He has been our life saver and had we known that post surgery, was something that she would deal with her whole life, we might have avoided a week stay in the hospital last winter. They keep a very close eye on her lungs. We see him once a month (unless sick) during "winter season" and then as needed during the summer. I so wish he had been part of her surgery stay and am so thankful for him now. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to email me. I would love to help.
ReplyDeleteMore prayers for health and improvement!
