It's been a whirlwind over the last few days but we are delighted to announce that we are home! Josie's Impedance and PH Probe study did not show evidence of reflux and her swallow study did not show signs of aspiration. Results notwithstanding, we were instructed to take precautions to avoid reflux. Josie was also put on Zithromax which has many benefits that could help her lungs going forward. We will honor our commitment to implement the strict winter quarantine and Josie will follow up with her pulmonologist in a month. She still requires a small amount of oxygen when she sleeps so don't be surprised to see those little brown stickers on her cheeks designed to hold the cannula in place.
In honor of Josie's first Halloween, we decided to model our pumpkin duds (thanks LC!) and do a photo shoot. Why I ever thought I could get a baby and a dog to simultaneously cooperate is beyond me! I guess this is why you don't see many dogs featured in Anne Geddes photos...
Lillian needs a 10 minutes nap break
This would be cute if Lil wasn't sporting her best mug shot face
Josie benevolently offered to wear the hat so Lil could be off the hook
I'm exhausted and we haven't even began the Halloween costume photo shoot! Something tells me Lilly will go on strike before the weekend is through. Stay tuned!
