Birthday Celebrations with Aunt Leanne

Mama Hop and Aunt Leanne "stopped by for a quick visit" yesterday (6 hours round trip, folks) to bring some birthday cheer to Travis and I.  A more elaborate update will follow but for now, here's a little video interview with Aunt Leanne explaining why the traditional birthday cupcakes are noticeably absent from our celebration.  It's a little hard to hear Leanne's end of the conversation because the music was turned up, but you'll understand why at the end of the video...

    Oh but Leanne dealing with two rugrats all day is every MORE reason to need cupcakes. LOL she is a total crack up!

    Leanne. You are a beast. First you ate the cupcakes and then you threw Mama Hop under the bus. Sigh. Another reminder of why I desperately need to work on LC's speech skills. She's going to have a lot of confessing to do.

    My family enjoyed Leanne's reasoning behind the eaten cupcakes. My husband had a DS sister and likes to see the videos. My 17 month old twin girls loves to see Josie videos and are always saying "baby". Thanks for sharing.

    OMG Leanne is the best! You don't need cupcakes because you have two rugrats to take care of. Perfect logic - when, in the course of a day, would you ever find time to eat a cupcake anyway? I'm totally on Leanne's side on this one. :)

    Your little family is just perfect! And, btw - from the pictures you've posted of Travis, Merryn looks just like him!
