The "Gangnam Style" song and dance mania is sweeping the nation and just like with the "Call Me Maybe" craze, Josie is all over it.
The only problem is that while the little galloping-horse-and-lasso dance has a wholesome charm that appeals to the masses, you probably won't catch David Gregory attempting to recreate Josie's Gangnam Style gyration in the middle of The Today Show plaza...
Because the Today Show producers would likely find Josie's "booty pop" inappropriate for their morning show audience; and it is inappropriate. So is yelling "Hey Sexy Lady!" not once, but twice, in front of your DHS caseworker. But that didn't stop Josie from loudly declaring her allegiance to the catchy tune this afternoon. After that little incident, I don't think I could be anymore mortified, so I figured I may as well go ahead and post the video that was taken a couple of weeks ago:
I promise she did NOT get that from me!
She is the best little butt swinger ever!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, my 2.5yr old does the same thing...but with more vigor! Thankfully she can't talk yet, but my hubby always loudly changes it to, "hey pretty lady"
ReplyDeleteLet me tell you she's got nothin on my 7yo with DS. Sometimes during praise and worship at church I blush. I have to know God knows her heart. (She was raised in an orphanage in Ecuador and was their little side show, my little Chica can get her groove on!) love this!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie!! Josie's enthusiasm makes me want to dance too - LOL. It's awesome to see her up on her feet - I'm sure she'll have tons of new moves now that she's getting more comfortable standing & walking!! My two-year-old with DS hasn't heard Gagnam style yet, but she has a love of Call Me Maybe that just might rival Josie's LOL :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks for making my morning! Work it Josie!
ReplyDeleteThat video you put together is PRICELESS. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI just came across your blog from the blog roll at The Bates Motel.
I really like your blog and just spent a lot of time going through the FAQ page. There is so much good info there for me to soak up!
I'm you're newest follower. :)
HA! Josie's got it goin' on! Looks like she's getting pretty good on her feet.
ReplyDeleteOh My Gosh. Love her. She's so cute! I just found your blog and find it very informative about DS. I have always wanted to adopt a DS child. You are a wonderful mother to those two cuties. Now I'm thinking and praying a lil harder! I love Leanne's videos. She is so funny and has such a big heart.
ReplyDeleteYou are Blessed.
Merry Christmas!
LOL!!! I LOVE this girl!
ReplyDeleteWasn't it just a short while ago she was so scared to stand and walk?
ReplyDeleteGo Josie!
Go Josie!!!!
