No more CPAP! Woo Hoo! Josie traded it in for a high-flow cannula which is much easier to tolerate. Things are improving and Josie was definitely more content today.
Having sassy red toenails to stare at when she kicks her legs into the air always helps to lift a girl's spirits!
Being CPAP free allowed Josie the freedom to to practice her "skills and abilities" but all that sitting up, reaching for toys, and shaking rattles is exhausting. We need this tough tot to get her rest so she can continue to recover.
Goodnight Little Lollipop. You make us so proud!
Yaaaayyyy for Josie!! I just love that little girl, something about her smile and eyes just melts my heart. She is a jewel.

Congrats Josie! We will keep praying for you so you can go home soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Josie you are so cute! I'm happy to see that you are on the mend.
ReplyDeleteIt was so good to see you on Tuesday and Wednesday night. I was a little bummed that I didn't get to see a smile though. Maybe another time when you come to visit and NOT be admitted back to the PICU. Tell your mommy & daddy I said hi.
