Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day!

Today, 3/21, is World Down Syndrome Day.  It is a day to raise awareness about Down syndrome.  The date is meaningful because it represents 3 copies of chromosome 21, which is what identifies Trisomy 21 or Down syndrome.
Here at CCE, everyday is a celebration of Down syndrome.  We strive to paint a positive  (albeit honest) picture of what life with Down syndrome is like.  The bottom line is that Down syndrome has been a part of my life since I came into this world and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Josie & Leanne, today (and everyday) we celebrate you!

  4. I have only been reading your blog for a week - I can't remember where I found the link, but I'm glad I did! I've loved reading it. I wish I had a sister like Leanne! And little Josie is adorable. I'm hoping to adopt a little soul with 3.21 in the future, too and this blog is a huge encouragement! Warm wishes from England x
