Dental Development in Down syndrome

Down syndrome tidbit of the day:  Children with Down syndrome may take longer to develop their teeth (between 1 and 4 years) and they may come in an atypical sequence.

Josie's dental development is certainly evidence of this.  That's why today was a BIG day!  Josie is sprouting a new tooth!
Looks like she may not be needing that flipper after all!

(Please don't send me hate mail.  It was just a joke.)

  1. You know, I was SURE Ev was going to have random order teeth. So far, she's been pretty much on. Top front 3, bottom front 2, and 2 yr molars (top) at almost 17 months. I think all the gaps are adorable! Go Jojo!
