Another Holiday Photo Shoot Fiasco

For some reason, whenever a holiday rolls around, I get a nagging urge to capture the perfect photo of my girls in their holiday attire.  And every holiday, I convince myself that I can pull it off.  You remember Fourth of July 2011 and how can you forget

But somehow I momentarily repress those memories and charge forward with my plans to capture the perfect photo.  I believe Mark Twain said it best when he brilliantly stated, "Denial ain't just a river in Egypt."

The first challenge was trying to tear Josie away from her beloved "Elbow."  I lost that battle.
So I reluctantly agreed to let Elbow be in the photo.  Josie was instantly cooperative...
...until she realized that her sister had her grubby paws on her furry, red friend.
Oh no you didn't!
I'll take that back, thank you very much!
And just so we're clear...for future reference...
...this ought to teach you...
...to keep your slobbery mitts off my things!!!
Any questions about this little policy?  I didn't think so.

  10. I got a belly laugh from this one. I know your job is not an easy one but you certainly know how to find the humor in every situation. That is a wonderful survival skill. Love you all.
