Before I get written out of the will...

Editor's Correction: It was recently brought to my attention that the new CCE "About Us" tab featured an accusation so slanderous that an immediate correction and earnest apology were owed to the wronged party. 

Mama Hop: This says I lost Homecoming Queen by two votes -
Me: Yes, that's what you've always claimed!
Mama Hop: No it's not!  It was PROM Queen - not Homecoming Queen!
Me: Big difference...
Mama Hop:  There is a difference.  I went to an all girls school.  We didn't have a football team so we didn't have a Homecoming.  It was prom queen!  You need to fix it! 

It was *ahem* quite a few years ago but the gravity of the situation cannot be underestimated, folks.  So I hereby retract the previous statement and offer a heartfelt apology to my mother, who is, for all intents and purposes, the Queen of Prom, Homecoming, Sadie Hawkins, Spring Fling, and all other cheesy high school dances in my book.

I'm beginning to see where Aunt Leanne gets her laid back, go-with-the-flow temperament ;-)
